Altered Art Jewelry Class - Wednesday, 11/4 @ 6pm in Rockaway

Hi Everyone,

This week's class is Altered Art Jewelry from 6:00-8:15pm at the AC Moore in Dover/Rockaway.

Join in on the altered art (the tranformation of ordinary everyday objects into artistic/decorative pieces using a variety of materials and techniques) craze and learn how to make unique pieces of jewelry. Bring all sorts of parts and pieces from items and ephemera you have laying around (old jewelry, game pieces, copies of old pictures, material, etc.) and reassemble them into something completely unique and one-of-a-kind. Some supplies and tools will be provided for use during class (ie: glitter, glue, markers, colored pencils, rubber stamps)

Supply List:
  • Assorted beads
  • Scrapbooking paper (optional)
  • Glass pendants or slides (optional)
  • Blank wood pieces (optional)
  • Miscellaneous ephemera - old jewelry, game pieces, pictures, material, buttons, and anything else you can think of!
  • Stringing material (i.e. Beadalon, leather, chain)
  • Clasp(s)
  • Ear wires
This will be a fun class. Make sure to let me know if you are planning to attend so that I bring enough tools and supplies. Also, let me know if there's something in particular you want to make.

Remember, there must be a minimum of two people signed up for class at the store or confirmed with me before noon on Wednesday or the class will be canceled. Thanks for understanding.
