Here's a quick list of the classes for March at AC Moore in Dover/Rockaway. I'll be posting samples in the next day or two.
March 5 - Pearl Knotting (Beginner)
March 12 - More Wire Work (Beginner/Intermediate)
March 19 - Peyote Stitch Beaded Beads (Beginner)
March 26 - Freestyle/Bead Social
All classes are on Wednesdays from 6:15pm - 8:45pm.

Freestyle/Bead Social Tonight
Sorry for the long gap in postings. I was away for a few weeks and when I got back I had several emergency repairs to deal with. Now I know why I lived in apartments for so long!!!
Last week was Intro. to Chain Maille/Jump Ring Jewelry. Everyone did a great job. I think everyone went home with at least 3 pair of earrings and the knowledge to make longer chains so they could make bracelets, necklaces or earrings.
There was a mix up at AC Moore and no class folder with sign up sheet was created for tonight's class. When people went to the store to sign up they couldn't. I apologize for that. From now on I'll make sure all of the folders are in place.
I haven't had the time to do my write ups for next month's classes yet but I promise to get to them later today.

Fire Mountain Gems - New Catalog
WOW!!!!!!!!!!!!! I just got my new FMG Jewelry Maker's Comprehensive Catalog. This thing is HUGE!!! The catalog I usually get is the regular 448 page catalog. This one is 1,216 pages. I'm sure I'll be spending the next 2-3 hours pouring through the pages.
If you are interested in getting a free copy of the regular catalog you can get it here: http://www.firemountaingems.com/catreq.asp?lnksrc=3&navsrc=2. This catalog is a GREAT reference guide. Just ask Eileen who carted it through Beadfest last year in a wheeled suitcase!!!
The more items you buy the better the discount. Hopefully we'll be able to get a group buy together this time. Too many things converged against us last time.

Tomorrow night's class is the Freestyle/Bead Social. It'll be a fun night out. I've asked for the large classroom so we have more room to spread out. If I get a chance to bake I'll bring along some goodies to share.
Following is the "class" description:
Don’t bead alone! This is a working class for beaders who may have questions or need a quick refresher in any area of beading. There will be no specific instruction but lots of one-on-one time with students. A great class to get motivated to finish your UFOs (UnFinished Objects), get back into beading, start a new project, or for social beading. Also, a chance to meet new friends and see old ones. Please bring along some of your finished projects to show the class.
(Limit 10 students)
Supplies: Beads, stringing material and findings
Cost: $15 + supplies
STUDENTS ENROLLED IN THIS CLASS MUST HAVE TAKEN A PREVIOUS CLASS WITH THIS TEACHER.
Hope to see you tomorrow night!
