Planning Ahead...

OK all you beaders out there in Morris County, and surrounding areas, I need some help. I have given out hundreds of business cards with class info, my name, blog and email address but class signups at A.C. Moore have almost completely stopped. I know A.C. Moore will want my January class schedule soon.

I'd appreciate it if you could please provide some feedback so that I can help you.

• What day/time would you like to take a class?
• What projects or techniques do you want to learn?
• Would you prefer kits that contain everything you need for a project or do you want to be able to pick out your own bead supplies?
• How much are you willing to pay for a class?
• Would you be interested in a once a month Bead Social/UFO Night? When?
• What level do you consider yourself - beginner, intermediate or advanced?

Brick Stitch Earring Class - Wednesday, 11/10 @ 6PM

Learn basic brick stitch bead weaving techniques to create an elegant pair of earrings. Once you get the brick stitch base done you’ll learn how to embellish them with fringe created with bugle, seed and/or drop beads. Graphing your own patterns will also be shown. THIS IS A STITCH CLASS USING NEEDLE AND THREAD.

Supplies: Size 8 or 10 seed beads (for base of earring), assorted bugle, seed and other beads (for fringe), beading thread or braided fishing line, Thread Heaven or similar thread conditioner, beading needles, earring findings, a bead mat is also recommended

Cost: $20 + supplies

DON'T FORGET TO ASK FOR THE SUPPLY LIST FROM CUSTOMER SERVICE WHEN YOU SIGN UP FOR CLASS. THIS SHEET ENTITLES YOU TO A 10% DISCOUNT ON CLASS SUPPLIES.

REMINDER - AT LEAST ONE STUDENT MUST BE SIGNED UP AT LEAST 24 HOURS  BEFORE CLASS (before 6:00pm on Tuesday) OR THE CLASS WILL BE CANCELED.

Pearl & Chain Necklace Class - November 3 @ A.C. Moore, Dover/Rockaway, NJ

Class Title: Beading/Jewelry Making – Pearl & Chain Necklace

Time: 6:00-8:15pm (try to arrive at least 15 minutes early)

In this wire work class students will learn several wire wrapping techniques (basic loops, double loops and wrapped loops) to incorporate two of the hottest trends, pearls and chains, into one stunning necklace. (Depending on complexity of design, project MIGHT NOT be completed in class.)

Supply List:
· pearls (real or glass)

· spacer beads and/or crystals (optional)

· unfinished chain

· clasp

· 22g beading wire in coordinating color to chain

Tools:

· wire cutters

· round nose pliers

· flat nose pliers

· crimping pliers

· bead board and/or bead mat (recommended but not necessary)
